THE ULTRA GIRLS – UK’s HOTTEST NEW GIRL GROUP HAS LANDED

Gettting dressed for a 'Girls Night Out'

Girls Will Be Girls - The catchy, debut single from the UK’s newest girl group, The Ultra Girls - is out NOW!!!!

Lauren, Amy, Laura and Lucy have been working tirelessly up and down the country as the ONLY support act for the ultimate pop princess herself – Kylie Minogue - on her Aphrodite Les Folies tour.

“It’s been awesome,” said the girls “We were so honoured to have been part of her tour.  It’s was amazing and we’d like to thank Kylie for having us.”

Kylie rarely has a support act – in fact it’s been 7 years since one toured - so these girls must have something special to have been hand picked and given the seal of approval by Miss Minogue herself.

With their huge personalities, individual style and girl power attitude, I can see why The Ultra Girls are being described as the new ‘Spice Girls’.  And if you think the girls look familiar – that’s because they were part of X Factor (same year as Jedward) as band Project A.  Sadly after making it to judge Louis Walsh’s house, the girls were sent home…not to cry and wallow…but to shake themselves off and meet with Zoe Smith of  Neon Star Records, who instantly believed they were the next big girl group.

Quickly gaining attention from media and a following via ‘The Ultra Army’, the girls are loving their new found fame and that’s evident each time you meet them.  They’re fresh, fun and full of ambition – knowing exactly where they want to be and how to get it,  armed with some of the biggest names in the business - Executive producer Steve Anderson (who has worked with Kylie, Westlife, Britney), Stylist Kenny Ho (Spice Girls and Girls Aloud), Songwriter and musical director Sarah DeCourcy (Christophe Willem, Kylie and Mel C), and Choreographer Aaron Sillis (Kylie and Cheryl Cole).

Only time will tell if they are indeed the ‘new anyone’ but from what we’ve seen at POSED and the reception the girls have had from fans - they’re most definitely a force to be reckoned with.

The Bluetones Are Back

‘A New Athens’, released this summer, marked the first new Bluetones release since their 2006  self titled, critically acclaimed album release. Brothers Mark and Scott Morriss along with Adam Devline and Eds Chesters have been ‘The Bluetones’ for the past sixteen years, and although they’ve not always topped the album and singles charts, the one thing which still astounds Mark, is the fact they continue to be No1 in the hearts of their fans.
