Cindy Sherman for MAC
We have to say… MAC is KILLIN’ it this year on the collaboration front.
Not content with the already highly anticipated venture with Gareth Pugh due out this November, they have just announced another dream-team partnership with famed photographer Cindy Sherman.
Sherman is well known for her outlandish, conceptual self-portraits depicting herself as everything from a clown to a corpse and uses her photography to comment on many issues in modern life. She works completely alone, assuming the role not only of photographer and model, but also that of hairstylist, wardrobe stylist and of course, makeup artist. This is exactly why this is a DREAM collaboration that has really been a long time coming!
True to form, Sherman has created three images or ‘faces’ for the collection which we have included, each of them showcasing the colours in that particular range. Personally, we are bubbling with excitement just looking at the gorgeous brights! And with the collection not available till September this year, it will be a much needed splash of colour when most other cosmetics brands are sticking to safe, autumnal shades.
All this plus Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin as the new faces for Viva Glam!?!?

M.A.C. JUNKIES!!! We are ridiculously excited over here about the news that M.A.C. Cosmetics are to team up with designer Gareth Pugh on a special collection due to launch this November.
M.A.C. have been champions of this incredible, avant-garde designer since he first began showing his work seven years ago and this collection seems like the perfect way to celebrate this relationship. Set to include multiple colour products and accessories in special packaging designed by Pugh, this collaboration is already causing major buzz and it was only announced less than one day ago!!
